Jenna Fischer's most well-known part is as Pam Beesly in the highly popular TV show The Office. Fischer was awarded two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her stellar performance on an ensemble comedy.
Her family was based within St. Louis Missouri. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in the church when she was a child that instilled a passion of performing and theater.
Fischer is an actor with theater training. The role she played was Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway drama Reasons to Be Happy. In the Old Globe Theatre's premiere, she starred alongside Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's absurdist comedy Meteor Shower.
In October of 2019, Fischer and The Office cast-mate and real-life best friend Angela Kinsey launched an online podcast called Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform, which has been a huge success, landing in the Top Ten globally every week and receiving over 200 million downloads in the first two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She has written two books: The Actor's Life A Survival Guide in which she describes her journey to Hollywood acting as a professional, and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends that Were There a memoir of the best relationship they shared and their time in The Office.
