Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
One child was strapped onto my back, while another crawled around in the playpen. I worked 12 hour days for months sanding and removing wallpaper, while carrying one kid. Ha! It was beginning to be clear, but was still far from being done. In order to furnish the house it would be a huge effort both in both time and funds. Also, I had to go out and shop for my most-loved items. My three sons and I searched for hidden gems while at estate sales to keep my spending under control. Our weekly routine that included spending Thursday through Saturday walking around estate sales and garage sales shopping for new and used things. I spent the rest of the week painting and sanding on the driveway. My love for furniture repair began when I saw a style similar to this. Once our home was completed, I was unable to quit! At the local market, I rented a small space, and also sold pieces. Eventually, I had too numerous pieces of furniture to fit into the space available. More than 1000 people came to my house in one weekend to buy everything that was on the ground. Growing Days was created in this home. When my business grew as did our family. There was a perfect balance between starting a new business and becoming a mother. Growing Days just seemed to be the right fit. Nora my 4th child was born in 2013. My company was doing well but I wanted a rest. I decided to step back and spend some time at home, spending time with my family. In the beginning, this was what I wanted. However after a few months off the phone started to ring. There were calls from people asking me for help with interior decor and home renovations. A majority of them were people who walked into my house in my open houses for furniture. It didn't seem long until I managed a large-scale home renovation company. It began with taking clients in a manner that I was comfortable with. Had you told me my venture would end up being the basis for a DIY Network show, I likely would have laughed. It's true that I amused when I think of it.
