Madekwe debuted in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series was telecast in the US on The CW for only two episodes before being canceled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC's Revenge in the role of Ashley Davenport. The show ended in 2013 after appearing in a third-season episode as the special guest. She played Tituba in the television series Salem between 2014 and 2016.
Madekwe married her long-time partner, Iddo goldberg, in June of 2012. Alongside Secret Diary of a Call Girl they also appeared on Salem and also he played an appearance with her on that show.

Ashley Mae Sebera, better known as Dana Brooke, her stage name in World Wrestling Entertainment, was born in Seven Hills on 29 November 1988. Sebera was enrolled at Kent State University, where she graduated with the degree of fashion design, merchandise and marketing in 2011. In addition, she holds minors in business administration. Sebera was a participant in many athletics before returning to gymnastics. After nearly 18 years of gymnastics, Sebera had severe injuries to her ankles that forced her to stop. Sebera then began training as a fitness and bodybuilder competitor. Sebera, who was crowned National Physique Committee Contests (NPCs) in 2011 and 2010 she earned her professional license in the year 2012. Then, she began to compete in the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness. Sebera signed a contract with WWE in 2013, and she began her WWE debut as Dana Brooke. She spent 3 years working in WWE NXT working out and performing performances before debuting on the WWE Main Roster in the year 2016 on Tuesday Night RAW. Outside of professional wrestling, she maintained a presence in bodybuilding. She returned in 2017 for the Arnold's Classic, competing in the fitness international category.
