Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9, 1976, at Beaumont Puy in Domme. The parents of Audrey Tautou, both a dental dentist as well as a teacher, understood and supported their daughter's enthusiasm for theater and drama at a young stage. Their support was enough to thwart her initial goal of becoming a an animal scientist. Her rise to fame as a young actress was quick and marked by her early successes. The beginning of her career came at the age of 1999 when she started acting professionally. In the years following her studies, Tautou participated in the French TV show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was raised in an Catholic family and attended her church even though she was a student in The Institut Catholique de Paris. She pursued a career in modeling alongside her acting career and is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel frequently referred to as the Chanel Muse. In the past, during the Arles Arts Festival, she displayed an array of photos under the name Superficial. The focus of her photography is celebrity, fame and the media that scrutinised her after her fame-making debut as Amelie. Also, she has numerous photographs of her self. Audrey Tautou became a star and gained international recognition with her first role in Amelie Poulain in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie made international waves at the box office and was awarded awards across all over the world. It's the highest-grossing French film in America. The film's success led to a huge increase in production. Tautou starred in many films which included British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de fiancailles. Tautou also appeared alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
